Established in 1927 by Jack Ahern as a vehicle service outlet, Aherns grew from strength to strength during the following decades becoming main dealers for Vauxhall cars and Bedford trucks. Jack's nephews Mick and John took over during the 70’s and developed the business changing franchises to Opel and Mitsubishi during the early 80’s.
Going from strength to strength, Aherns built up a very loyal customer base. Mick's sons Pat and Paul joined the company in the mid 1990s.
